AUTHOR’S RESPONSE TO THE MANUSCRIPT REVIEW

This work of Christian nonfiction draws upon the author's extensive life experience and spiritual learning to address issues of faith facing our society and young Christians today.

The author's writing flows naturally and is filled with care and passion for both his subject matter and his readers. He is clearly a natural-born writer, and he uses his gift of writing to help draw readers to the truth of their identity and purpose in life as believers.

The author shares his own life journey to show how he has matured in the faith, which also shows how society has changed over the decades.

​He then refutes common "politically correct truths" by expressing what the "Biblically correct truths" are. In this way, he takes on many complex issues, ranging from evolution to sexuality and gender to the demonic forces that are working against Christians.

These much-needed discussions make the book an intriguing collection of social insights, spiritual truths, and sage advice for generations to come.

                                                                                                                                                                   

I received this very positive Manuscript Review in December of 2017 after submitting my original manuscript. The other part of the review made it quite clear the manuscript needed extensive editing to make it ready for publishing in book form. My publisher offered to do the editing for a fee that honestly was more than I expected or could afford. 

However, the real issue for me was that the manuscript review was much better than I expected and I did not want anyone to edit my story to make it more readable or into a better book form and lose my very personal message of faith and why I believe so strongly in the message of John 3:16.

I decided to edit the manuscript myself and did some additional research; it started a year long process. I have tried to learn from others and find examples of how I wanted my book to look. I structured my book format after an inspirational book I had read by Ainsley Earhardt, entitled "The Light Within".

I became introduced to the Fox and Friends News show during the 2016 election process and learned to trust Ainsley, Steve, Brian and almost all the other Fox News reporters for honest reporting. Many of the stories in Ainsley's book were like my God moment stories in my book. Her book cover with her daughter inspired my book cover with my grandsons and my wife.

This website will also have a brief description of the initial sections of my book, so that some of the more subtle wisdom of the Bible will not be lost in the reading. 

The Foreword Section of my book has one of the most personal and heart felt stories of why my faith is so strong today and how it started at such a tender age. More important is the message that the Bible Scriptures can be trusted and a very personal relationship with the Creator God of the Bible is available to all of God's Children.

This is where I first introduce theconcept of a Creator God super-naturally and strategically placing people in our lives. When we look back on our lives, most people will see this happening in their lives too. If you watch any of the Hallmark Movies, you see examples of this concept in almost every movie. You will also see for the first time, how this concept affected my life and my family.

This section tells the story of how my book got started over twenty years ago. There are several family dedications, before the ultimate dedication. There is also a special family dedication to my only Godchild. One page, but do not miss it!

                                                               INTRODUCTION
 
​This section is essential to fully understand my story. It is the foundation of my life and the foundation of the story I was trying to document in a very personal way.

There is also some Biblical wisdom throughout this section with some of the questions and beliefs I have had since I was a very young child. It is why when my life became very challenging, I looked to the Bible for the best answers

Early in this section is another description of a specific example of God's hand in Supernaturally and Strategically placing people in my life. It is the beginning to an intricate and very beautiful love story that I will explain in more detail later in my story.

There is also a great story about boating on Lake Erie and an eternal message for all who have doubts, like Charles Darwin in the early part of his life. Sadly, many of us do not understand the eternal promise of the Bible, until it is almost too late. Most of us, never really understand all the many promises the Christian Bible offers believers throughout their life.

There is also a description of three important attributes of God that not everybody is aware of. Yet, everybody needs to understand, so they can access the daily comfort, joy and protection available to them in the Biblical promises.

There is a most important concept introduced about people blaming God - Many Christians never fully understand about the true nature of God until they have spent a lot of time getting to know God. Most never fully understand unless a trusted friend walks them through the learning and understanding process. (The Goal: Reading the Bible with understanding through personal Discipleship or Bible Study groups.)

There is also a section on understanding the difference between God's Grace and God's Favor. A concept it took me decades to fully understand, but one that is so important for all believers to understand. (It is a difficult concept discussed in part in the Book of James.)

​At the end of this section is some additional background on how I grew up to help you better understand the very personal story of my faith walk.

Xulon  Manuscript Review 

 Recently, I have had both family and friends that believe I should return to my original Title and Subtitle. There are many Scriptures that explain and support this title and subtitle within my story. However,  I decided to change my Book Title and Subtitle back in December 2018 based on the overwhelming feed back from a seventeen member Author Mastermind group and their guests with Jack Canfield and Steve Harrison at Jack's home in California.





We met for two long days in December 12-13, 2018. The concern the group had was the word "Jesus" in my Book Title was way too controversial. I agreed to change my Book Title to make it more acceptable to those who really needed to read and understand how and more importantly why my faith in Jesus had matured over my lifetime. 

By September 2020, the original Book Title may be more appropriate for our current times. "The Invisible War" by Chip Ingram was mentioned in the Introduction  of my story on page xv. This book addresses; "What Every Believer Needs to Know about SATAN, DEMONS & SPIRITUAL WARFARE". See the end of this handout for Current Event
