Mr. Trigg!

Finally had an opportunity this morning to read the suggested chapters of your book. It is great to see you passing on what God has taught you to the next generation. You are leaving a legacy. Your shared memoirs will leave your stamp on this world and in the hearts of those closest to you.

May all who open this book be blessed by the truth within, capturing both the heart of Jesus and the man courageous enough to pen the words. Miss you brother, hope all is well.

​You are a difference maker. You made a special difference in my life at a moment in time and you made a great memory for me today. It is so refreshing to visit with people who have a "Kingdom" first attitude. Yours shines like the lighthouse to a boater on stormy waters.

Review of Dick's Book:

What a trip! As "Grandpa" takes us through a wonderful journey, we are led to see how he became a spiritual mentor and patriarch for his family. His romp through life from a young boy to being a grandfather is sometimes chronological, and circuitous, yet he clearly intimates a deep understanding of God, society and issues of faith that effect young Christians today. 

As his pastor for the last several years, I felt blessed to have known him before he became a parishioner. I have know him for 12 years as he made the trip from Kingman Arizona to be involved in missions in the area where he grew up. It has been a privilege to know him and serve with him as a missionary and parishioner.

This book would be ideal for use as a Christian book club that would read and have conversations. In additions, the folks in our fellowship are looking forward to using the book in small groups.

Dick,

When I finished re-reading your book in July-August I chose to write down my thoughts as I though I was talking to someone else. Following is what I said…

“My friend, “Dick “Grandpa” Trigg, tells his readers that the purpose in writing this book is to pass along to his descendants the history of his faith journey.

In a transparent and authentic way, using a series of life events, personal convictions, research, Scripture and a subtle sense of humor, Dick has been able to impart in a meaningful and enjoyable accounting of the growth process in his Christian Faith.

Dick “Grandpa” Trigg’s descendants will certainly be able to gain a reliable impression of Grandpa Trigg. Other readers may wish they could communicate as effectively a logical defense of their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.”

Now, these last thoughts summarize what I felt as I re-re-read.

All truth is God’s truth.
God’s truth is revealed to mankind.
Any life apart from God’s truth will not experience the abundant life in time or eternity.
